most of the stuff posted here is negative, hateful, and blasphemous against god.

even if many of you are right in saying that the jws are wrong on many and important issues, that does not make you right.

so unless you are convinced that there is no biblical god you are facing serious trouble when you die or if the lord comes during your lifetime.

Like the rest of the old h2o apostate crowd, you exaggerate ANY alleged negatives and minimize all of the positives. Again, you do the same thing. You slander CHRISTIANS by claiming the deeds of people who may not have been at all "Christlike" are their sins also!

NO other group of people have EVER 'practiced what they preach' as much as real Christians do. That is verifiable.
You just don't like having your own 'logic' used on you.

Hi Tina,
If your such a great, tolerant person then quit slandering anyone who has faith. Perhaps you need to read your own posts? BTW, defending a positions is not at all 'unchristian' and dealing with you in a blunt manner is also not 'unchristian'.
That's another way the liberal fringe get away with anything: attack and villify then condemn when your confronted with your own errors and hypocrisy.

That's the simplest way to understand salvation by grace, which is what we are taught in Romans.

I witnessed to the Christians last night--LOL!

thought you all would enjoy this.. i went to a b'day party for a friend who is a bible-thumper in the worst way!

(10x worse than most jw).. i'm sitting around like a zombie while everyone is talking about how "blessed" they are to "know christ" blah blah blah blah blah.. then my interest got peaked as one of the women started quoting scripture talking about how the reason her life is blessed is that her great great grandmother was a russian mennonite blah blah blah and the bible says that god will bless your offspring if you come to know him.

blah blah blah.. so i start asking a few well placed questions like "well what does that mean for the poor muslim sop whose great great grandmother was a muslim?

Unless your lying about it. We have no way of knowing, do we? I suggest you read through the book of Romans and Ephesians, use the footnotes in a good study bible and if you can do it, go to a library and get Edward's "NIV Commentary on Romans".

NIV Acts 10:34-36

35 but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.
36 You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.

Peter is talking about God not favoring the Jews over gentiles. He is also speaking of converts to the new faith, to be later called "Christianity".
Also, the Bible DOES teach that all who do not accept His Son as their Lord and Saviour will reside in hell for an eternity.

Oh Come On Tina,
You slander the memory of Christians, millions of them that have given their very lives for others. You slander soldiers in wars against Facism and Communism, you slander pastors, priest, nuns, laypeople, nurses and the list goes on. You ignore the Salvation Army, the "YM/WCA", the thousands of church supported hospitals, soup kitchens, relief missions, food distribution in famine lands, disaster relief and the old widow who puts change in the plate for the use of others.
I grieve for you, Tina. You have decided your own fate without even considering the options available. I noticed that you did not even attempt to address the legitimate definition of Christianity. Perhaps you are still steeped in your own dogma: If JWs are wrong then NO ONE is right. I liked the way old "1" said it, "If my momma is a hoe then ALL mommas are hoes!"
You have convinced yourself that you have no need for God. Yet worship is a fact of human nature. It is a part of us, the need to find God. You have simply switched God for some idolatry like materialism or rationalism.
You decry the existence of God yet you ignore the monsterous choices of depraved humanity...and blame them on God also. What arrogance!
For the record: Christianity is NOT any human led organization. It is not the medevial catholic church, it is not any church. Churches can and do exist for fellowship and common endeavors. The overall track record for Christan churches is exemplary regarding hospitals, charity, poverty and hunger relief and only the intentionally stupid deny this while highlighting the narrowmindedness and occasional wickedness of those who claim authority.
It's the same as if you villified every good JW for the actions of the Society. Shame on you. do you treat your Christian acquaintances the same as you do here?
